MxersFactory Official Rulebook

These are the rules for every MxersFactory series on MX vs ATV Legends for Xbox. Every rider is expected to read them and race by them, so the competition stays fair and the community stays positive.

MxersFactory is an independent, self-owned league and is not affiliated with or endorsed by THQ Nordic or Rainbow Studios.

Every round runs timed qualifying, then the mains. There are no heats or LCQs. Your qualifying time alone decides which main you race. Legends allows 16 riders per online lobby, so each main is capped at 16.

1. Qualifying. All registered riders go into a qualifying lobby for 8 minutes. Only your fastest lap counts, and times from every qualifying lobby are combined into one order.

2. A-Main. Qualifiers 1st to 16th.

3. B-Main. Qualifiers 17th to 32nd.

4. C-Main. Qualifiers 33rd to 48th, only on weekends with a very high turnout and only when a host is available.

Alternates. Riders qualifying 33rd and back are alternates. When a spot opens in the A-Main or B-Main, the highest-qualified alternate fills it. Alternates race a C-Main if one runs.

Race length now depends only on class and track type. Motocross and SMX run two motos, Supercross runs one main, and Triple Crown runs three.

Qualifying is always 8 minutes for every class and track type.

On smaller screens, swipe the table sideways to view both class columns.

Riders can race both classes all season and score points in both championships.

250 Class rules

• 250 champions get one defense. After winning a 250 title, a champion chooses one of two options:

  • race the very next 250 series, whatever type it is, or

  • skip ahead and defend at the next running of the same series they won (for example, a 250 Supercross champion waits for the next 250 Supercross series).

• After that one defense, the rider moves up to the 450 Class only.

• No past MxersFactory 450 Class champion can race the 250 Class.

• Any rider who takes the red plate (points lead) in the 450 Class is moved out of the 250 Class for the rest of that season.

Smurf accounts

A smurf account is a second account used by a rider who is not eligible for the 250 Class, usually a past champion. Using one means immediate disqualification and the loss of all points on the rider’s main account.

Before the race

• Qualifying lobbies are posted on Discord and Instagram 30 minutes before race time.

• Add or message your host on Xbox 10 minutes before race time. If you miss your race because you didn’t, that’s on you.

• Hosts send invites from the top of the lobby list to the bottom.

On track

• No track cutting. Riding outside the track or using shortcuts to gain an advantage is not allowed.

• No blocking. Stopping on the racing line or making yourself an obstacle on purpose is not allowed.

• No leaving the A-Main. Leaving an A-Main before it finishes means a one-round suspension. Plenty of riders want that spot.

• No intentional wrecking or any other move meant to ruin someone else’s race. Accidental contact is part of racing.

Penalties

Restarts

• If one rider’s game crashes during the first lap of a main, the race restarts once so they can rejoin. That is one restart for the whole field.

• If the whole lobby crashes, the race restarts with the time that was left when it crashed.

• Once the whole field finishes the first lap, there are no restarts for individual crashes.

Disputes and protests

Video wins. In a dispute, the rider with a clip of the incident wins the argument, so clip anything that looks off. To protest, DM a league admin on Discord right after the race. Keep it private so outside comments don’t sway the ruling.

Points are paid in every main, A, B and C. On Motocross and SMX, which run two motos, each one scores separately. Triple Crown and MXoN rounds are scored Olympic style: add up each rider’s finishes across the races, and the lowest total wins the round. Championship points are then paid on that overall finish. A tie on total goes to the better finish in the last race.

Tie-breaker. If riders are tied on points at the end of the season, the rider with the most wins takes the championship.

• Custom tuning is allowed. Ask the top riders for their tunes if you need help.

• All rider aids are allowed, including pitch, yaw, roll, wheelie and stoppie assist and automatic transmission.

Keep it respectful everywhere, in game chat, on Discord and on every league platform. No personal attacks, insults or harassment, and no discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or anything else. Help new riders, give useful feedback and celebrate each other’s wins. When you race here, you represent the league.
